TREASURE - Cartier
Treasure pays homage to the iconic Cartier red boxes. Receiving a Cartier red box for Christmas is a delightful experience that anyone would enjoy, so why not have an abundance of Cartier gifts, that reflect love, joy and giving.

Solidarity Xmas Tree is a charitable event where the most important luxury brands in the world create unique and exclusive Christmas trees that are auctioned in support of two charitable foundations. From November 21 to 27, 2023 the Christmas trees were exhibited in the boutiques of the participating brands, forming the Solidarity Xmas Tree route.
OUR PROPOSALS
IED Barcelona collaborated with Cartier to design their Christmas tree for the 2023 edition. I was fortunate enough to be selected to be part of the design team with students from product, interior and graphic design.
Together as a team we developed five proposals that represented the luxury brand’s values. It was up for Cartier to make the selection which we would then develop further. Check them out below.
TREASURE DEVELOPMENT
A tower consisting of three simple red boxes of three different sizes stacked on each other, was re-envisioned as a mountain of Cartier red boxes. These transparent resin boxes are placed in such a way so as to create an eye-catching showpiece, in the form of a Christmas tree.
MOODBOARD
Cartier Red, coupled with their iconic jewellery boxes, serves as the essence of the project, encapsulating Cartier's rich tradition and timeless elegance. Adding a contemporary touch, the incorporation of resin, with its translucent properties, introduces an innovative play with light.
