LIGHTBOX - BCD's Llums de Nadal
For this Christmas window display our goal was to evoke a sense of wonder by emphasizing the spirit of Christmas. Through the means of storytelling and in so, depicting the nativity scene. A story told in layers of paper backlit to create a dreamy lightbox effect.

We designed the Christmas window display for the historic Puigoriol pharmacy, as part of BCD’s llums de nadal initiative. Which aims to promote dynamism and innovation in local commerce in different neighborhoods of the city. Lightbox was selected by the Puigoriol family from six other proposals, and awarded third place by the professional jury.

Upon analysing the sun's trajectory, it became evident that the site lacked direct sunlight. This realization prompted us to opt for a backlit design.

With a budget of €450 allocated for purchases at Servei Estació and Barcelona LED. It was a great challenge to source our materials within budget without compromising quality.
